We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone that participated, attended and donated to our Charity Football Tournament on Friday 2nd August
On what was a glorious, sunny Friday afternoon at Bishop Auckland College, Gestamp Tallent Ltd came out victorious in our first Charity Football Tournament.
Organised in partnership with Bishop Auckland College, who we’d like to say a special thanks to for providing the venue, the tournament was held in order to raise money for our fundraising campaign in support of our charity partner, The Hub of Wishes. Teams from GEM Partnership, Bishop Auckland College, Gestamp, Husqvarna, PSP and Tekmar made up the tournament and contested some brilliant matches.
All participants were asked to donate an entry fee and during the afternoon there were fundraising activities taking place as well as a raffle with some fantastic prizes.
As a result of all of those who participated, attended and and donated we are overwhelmed to say that we have now raised an incredible £2616.
Raffle prizes included 4 ball golf at Close House, a Spicers of Hythe Gift Hamper, Afternoon Tea for 2 at Blackwell Grange Hotel and many more.
Final standings for the tournament were:
1st Place: Gestamp
2nd Place: GEM
3rd Place: PSP
4th Place: Husqvarna
5th Place: Tekmar
6th Place: Bishop Auckland College
