Job Description
Our client is looking for a Laser Operator to join their expanding team working a 2 shift rotation. Candidates need to communicate well at a variety of levels (excellent listening skills, verbal, written), have good analytical and problem-solving skills, be self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision, capable of understanding specifications and drawings, understand all measuring equipment within the department.
Duties
• Setting of tools
• Setting of the machine
• Editing programs and checking parts
Required knowledge, skills or experience
• This person should have experience and knowledge of working on CNC tube laser or CNC flatbed laser machine
• Knowledge of working to and understanding engineering drawings is essential in both first and third angle projection.
• The ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a team of approx. 3 people the individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance.

Location: Chilton
Hours of work:
• Dayshift – Mon – Thurs: 8:00am to 5:00pm
? Friday – 8:00am to 12:30pm
• 2 shift rotation: Mon – Thurs: 2:30pm to 11:00pm
? Friday: 12:30pm to 7:00pm
? Mon – Thurs: 6:00am to 2:30pm
? Friday: 6:00am to 12:30 pm
Rate of Pay: £13.73 per hour
