National Apprenticeship Week – T Levels Thursday
What are T Levels?
T Levels are qualifications for 16 to 19 year olds that are taken after GCSEs and focus on technical and vocational skills.
They are a great choice – combining learning and on the job training that can help students get into skilled employment, university or higher apprenticeships and higher technical qualifications.
Employer Benefits
Hosting T Level students on industry placements can help to tackle skills shortages within your business and can help support and develop future talent in your area.
It can also enable existing staff to develop management and mentoring skills when hosting a T Level industry placement student.
GEM Partnership’s experience with T Levels
We have been thrilled to host Iman Mumtaz during her work placement whilst working toward her Business and Administration T Level.
Whilst on placement, Iman has been supporting our administration and compliance team, utilising the knowledge and skills she is learning on her qualification.
I’ve found my studies in the business T-level to be quite engaging and informative. The course has provided a solid foundation in various aspects of business. I chose a T-level qualification because it offers a practical, hands-on approach to learning, which I believe is essential for understanding the real-world applications of business concepts. Plus, the combination of classroom learning and industry placements really helps in developing valuable skills for my future career.
My work placement has been really valuable. It’s allowed me to apply what I’m learning in my business T-level in a real-world setting, helping me understand how theory applies to practical working. I’ve gained skills in communication, and problem-solving, making it a rewarding experience overall.
