Programme Overview
For those working in the manufacturing and engineering sector, or looking for a role in this industry, this qualification will increase skills and knowledge for a wide range of semi-skilled roles, including process workers, wood machinists, boiler operators, metal polishers and forge hands.
The qualifcation is assessed through an online examination of 20 multiple choice questions based on the content of the workbook. The learner will be given full training delivering and will gain knowledge required through classroom sessions.

Who is it for?
This Level 2 Award in Industrial Environment Awareness is designed to meet the needs of learners and employers across the manufacturing industry. This EAL qualification has been designed for those learners who are working in an industrial environment but have no formal qualifications, are completing an Apprenticeship in Improving Operational Performance, are looking for career progression within the industrial workplace or wish to learn additional knowledge relevant to the workplace.
