Apprenticeship Achievement

We’d like to congratulate Tom Archibald on the completion of his Recruitment Resourcer Level 2 apprenticeship

Everyone at GEM Partnership are delighted to offer our congratulations to Tom on his achievement recently in passing his Recruitment Resourcer apprenticeship.

Tom’s colleague Marcin Rychlowski spoke on his progression:

I have noticed that Tom has been more confident in speaking to new clients and workers. He was able to take onboard new responsibilities and has began working on permanent vacancies. At the same time Tom was able to deal with more challenging situations.

He has definitely improved over the course of his apprenticeship and with the support and coaching he has received he was able to take onboard new responsibilities and clients that are now part of his portfolio.

Reflecting on his apprenticeship Tom says:

I feel like the programme was a massive help in developing my skills within the workplace. I have learnt a range of new skills which I use every day at work.

Completing my apprenticeship alongside my working role was very beneficial as I was able to use the skills, I have learnt and put them into practice straight away in the workplace which helped me develop confidence especially when speaking with client management teams.

And finally; we asked Tom what advice he would give for anyone currently or about to undertake an apprenticeship:

I would definitely recommend completing an apprenticeship as the knowledge and skills that you gain are really valuable within the workplace.

For anyone currently working through an apprenticeship I would advise that they put the effort it and work hard as you only get out what you put in!

Tom is also completing the Great North Run this year, to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer. He says:

Pancreatic cancer is a charity close to my heart after losing my Nana to this. It is one of the lowest researched cancers and any donations would be greatly appreciated to help aid research and help support families.
