Apprenticeship Achievement
We’d like to congratulate Ella Hancock on the completion of her Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship
Everyone at GEM Partnership are delighted to offer our congratulations to Ella on her achievement recently in passing her Business Administrator apprenticeship.
Ella’s colleague Rob Mayman spoke on her progression:
The confidence that Ella now demonstrates onsite is one of the main differences I’ve seen, the apprenticeship has allowed her to gain valuable skills and daily interaction with numerous stakeholders allows her to use these new skills in a variety of challenging situations.
The apprenticeship has underpinned the skills gained from ‘on the job’, from understanding the complexities of compliance to time management and working to tight guidelines alongside the pressures of working onsite which presents a multitude of daily challenges which Ella takes all in her stride.
Reflecting on her apprenticeship Ella says:
Through my apprenticeship, my confidence has increased as I am constantly meeting and speaking to new people being based onsite. I am also much more confident in my work and abilities as I help out in all aspects of the business and can support wherever needed.
I complete a broad range of tasks everyday, completing my apprenticeship alongside these tasks gave me a deeper understanding of why I have to complete the tasks in a specific way and the laws and processes behind them.
And finally; we asked Ella what advice she would give for anyone currently or about to undertake an apprenticeship:
I think an apprenticeship is a great opportunity as you are working towards a qualification as well as getting valuable work experience and skills. An apprenticeship helps you get an idea of where you might like to go with your career and helps you get a headstart on it as, upon completion, you can be given more opportunities and responsibility in your company. You also learn a lot socially as you are working with different people all the time which helps you to become more confident.
