Job Description

My client is a community healthcare provider who is dedicated to improving everyone’s wellbeing by making healthcare better. They currently seek a number of Healthcare Appointment Co-Ordinators to call patients who have already been referred to their service to book them in for appointments with their specialists.
The Co-Ordinators will work onsite at their Newcastle location for 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm). These no-sales roles are offered on a temp to perm basis, with successful candidates being given the opportunity to transfer to permanent staff after 12 weeks.

Duties

• Contact patients who have already been referred to a specialist service (physiotherapy, rheumatology etc.) to book in their appointments.
• Reschedule or cancel appointments as necessary.
• Complete associated admin.

Required knowledge, skills or experience

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong track record in customer services and/or admin to join a company who prides itself on delivering positive patient experiences at all times. They seek individuals with:

The roles are based at their Head Office function, so future career opportunities and progression pathways may be available in other parts of the business too.
If you feel you have the qualities our client is seeking, please forward your CV and covering letter indicating your current package to Jen Dunthorne or, for a discreet conversation, call our Peterlee office.
