Apprentice Spotlight – February 2024

Future industry leaders

As a recruitment and training provider we’re in the fortunate position of being able to not only provide our partners with talent but also to help train and shape that talent into the future leaders of the industry.

In our first spotlight of 2024, we spoke to Ella Coleman who is working toward her Business Administrator Level 3 with GEM Partnership (which you can read here: https://www.gempartnership.com/apprentice-spotlight-january-2024/).

For this months Apprentice Spotlight we’ve spoken to Kyle Bartle who is working toward his Team Leader/Supervisor Level 3 whilst working at Husqvarna:

How have you found the transition from associate/employee to apprentice whilst at Husqvarna and do you feel undertaking the programme has aided your work?

Yes, it has massively supported my transition. Learning a lot of key skills to support my current/new role as a line leader.

Have you found balancing your apprenticeship and work challenging? If so, how have you managed this?

Some small challenges but have bee supported throughout by my trainer and management, this has enabled me to overcome all the barriers I have been faced with.

What are your goals after completing the programme and how do you feel the programme will benefit that?

My goals are to use the knowledge I have gained in the apprenticeship to further progress myself within Husqvarna and into higher management.

Kyle’s trainer, Kayleigh Johnson provided feedback:

Kyle has shown progress whilst on programme, gaining confidence in his line leader role and understanding theories and methodologies that link to his role and responsibilities.

I have received outstanding feedback from Kyle’s management team in regards to problem solving and team leadership and how his confidence has grown dramatically.
